Celebrations should be celebrated.

Its my bday today.

Every year I am given blessings and gifts by my friends and family. But today I want to bless myself with a piece of advice.

" Tanushree! kindly stop being so skeptical and cynical about love ''

whenever my bday approaches I have this very bad habit of telling my mother, father and sister to not put up any status on WhatsApp on my bday. Reason ? I want to test who truly loves me and who is faking it  :/ , yes this emoji is exactly what I am feeling now about this habit of mine.

I realized that love cannot be defined. If somebody remembers my bday great and even if they don't, it doesn't mean they don't love me and vice versa. Why I always have to move around with a measuring rod constantly measuring other peoples' love. Won't it be better to accept their love at face value. At the end of the day everybody have their own way and degree of showering love and that should not be judged. So from now onwards I wont ever ask people and even myself to not celebrate for me. Everybody needs love and so do I, then what's the need to build so may walls around myself.

With this lesson I want to share a rather funny incident as well. My sister prepared a WhatsApp video for me. At first I asked(begged) her to not upload it but thanks to the person she is, a WhatsApp status is mandatory. So at last we bargained and I gave her an entire list of people from whom she had to hide her status :/, a list so long that he ended up putting me in that ''hide from'' list. hahahahahah.

wooooossshhh!!! lesson learnt!!

happy bday to myself :)

P.S.: blogger is showing the date to be 25th march but its actually 26 march. don't know what's the issue
